WHY DO DRUGS WORK SO FAST AND NUTRIENTS TAKE LONGER? It is easier and faster to poison something than to fix it slowly and carefully. Drugs often poison your enzyme systems while nutrients make your enzyme systems work better.
GenZone Age Management Medicine (GenZone AMM) is a unique program designed to measure, treat, and delay the aging process. We will all age and died one day, but how soon, and to what extent that happens is determined by several known factors. Preventing aging or healthy living is just like preventing any disease. Aging can be delayed and even reversed. No one wants to live forever, but most of us would like to live our “Golden years” free from the disease and frailty that we commonly see. We call that healthy aging.
In order to reap the rewards of optimizing your health and delaying the aging process, we offer a customized individualized program consisting of proper diet, exercise, hormonal replacement, and prescription medication as necessary. We use a number of specific Healthy–Aging Assessment Modalities and Biomarkers of Aging. We do Comprehensive Blood Panels including hormones, lipids, cholesterol and thyroid profiles, food and allergy sensitivity testing, genetic testing and cancer screening as indicated. GI Analysis for bacteria can be performed, along with DXA Scans for osteoporosis and body composition. We provide vitamins, nutraceuticals and supplements including our premier line called BodyFood, plus exclusive products like TA 65 and Celergen, for the privacy and convenience of our patients. We work with the best labs to evaluate blood, saliva, buccal swabs, urine and stool to get the most information and individualize treatment.
Our Approach to Aging Well
Aging is inevitable, but how you age is not. GenZone Age Management Medicine (GZAMM) is your gateway to next-generation medical science… a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to managing your aging process.
Forget conventional thinking about aging, and diagnose-and-treat philosophies. GZAMM shifts the emphasis from disease-driven medicine to an innovative, health-focused practice. GZAMM’s Medical Director, Dr Mahl helps you take control of the aging process and improve your health span.
First you have to focus on discovery – getting real answers to your specific health concerns. That’s where we come in. We travel far beyond the conventional approach of quick, routine exams and generalized estimates, based on body type, gender and age. Instead, we get down to the truth about your unique situation, starting with a comprehensive evaluation – an extremely thorough set of diagnostics that establishes your personal metabolic and physical baseline and current biological age – how old you really are. We rely on this evidenced-based data to see the big picture, uncovering your strengths and weakest health links.
Next, Dr Mahl and his staff partner with you, creating a multi-faceted program that meets your health goals and successfully manages your aging process. Each program is tailored to your needs and goals. Therefore, your program plan will be unlike the patient before you and the ones who follow. You stay in control, making informed decisions from solid medical evaluations and experience.
Research shows our synergistic whole-life approach helps individuals restore and maintain optimal health so they live well longer. At GenZone Age Management Medicine, we keep your health on course, tracking progress, reviewing test results, discussing examinations and determining adjustments to your personal program along the way.
As a result, you enjoy youthful aging, living out your years with vitality, vigor and a higher quality of life – with improved cognitive functions, enhanced libido, lean body mass, decreased body fat, better skin tone, improved cholesterol scores, a stronger immune system and healthier bones.

- How we age
With few exceptions, people age at a similar rate until they reach their late twenties or mid thirties. Then most people reach a turning point – a transition from “growing” into “aging”. In general, each biologic function begins to decrease in the transition. There is enormous variation among individuals, as they age, in the rate of decline of biologic function. Biologic age is an estimate of an individual’s level of biologic functioning compared to others at different chronological ages. The individual who makes unhealthy choices may actually function and biologically be aging at the same level as someone 15-20 years older. The question is how can you be one of those people who function and age biologically at a level equivalent to someone who is many years younger than you?
Presently, the degenerative diseases of aging are humankind’s greatest challenge: cancer, heart attack, stroke, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease prematurely kill and disable millions of people worldwide. in the United States alone, eliminating the number of deaths from many of these diseases would result in hundreds of billions of dollars returned to the economy, not including the savings in medical costs. Imagine how wonderful it would be if a pharmaceutical company developed a pill which could cure 60-70% of all aging-related diseases. Yet that is the percentage of cancers that are preventable in this country, according to the American Cancer Society. they estimate, for example, that 90,000 deaths due to cancer could be preventable each year in the U.S. if men and women did nothing more than maintain normal weight. Equally compelling available evidence demonstrates the possibility to prevent a similar percentage of amy other aging-related diseases, including heart attacks, strokes, and diabetes. It would appear that the diseases and diminished function experienced by many people from aging are far more related to a lifetime of unenlightened choices than they are to the ticking of a clock.
The gradual wasting away of the body over the course of decades is not a necessary or normal component of aging. Preventive-aging measures are available to postpone entry into the disability span of life and improve one’s “health expectancy.”
Screening, health risk assessment and early intervention for the improvement of physiological, cognitive, emotional, and physical functioning offer possible and significant increases to one’s “health expectancy.” A comprehensive approach to preventive-aging should include equal attention to optimum nutrition and appropriate nutritional supplementation, exercise and fitness, hormone balance, healthy lifestyle changes, and stress-response management. Any preventive-aging strategy should strive to build the body’s reserve capacity, improve functional ability, and reestablish balance in the body and the mind. The moment to act is now. While you cannot go back and make a new start, you can start today to make a new ending.
HGH (Human Growth Hormone)
HGH is critical for tissue healing, muscle growth, bone strength, brain function, physical and mental health, energy, and metabolism. A shortage of HGH accelerates processes that most people would prefer to slow down.
hgh001Our Age Management Medical Protocol includes medically supervised Human Growth Hormone (HGH) therapy, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), and Testosterone Replacement Therapy treatments that utilize the latest advances in medicine.
HGH is a protein hormone, composed of 191 amino acids, that is synthesized and secreted by cells called somatotrophs. It is produced in the anterior pituitary, a gland attached to the hypothalamus, which is at the base of the brain. HGH, like testosterone and estrogen, decreases with age. Starting in our 20s, HGH secretion declines 10-20% each decade. By age 50, you only secrete 25% as much as the average 20-year-old. By age 60, you produce very little HGH. This decrease in HGH speeds up the aging process and increase the symptoms of Adult Onset Growth Hormone Deficiency. In women, it signals menopause and tin men, it signals male menopause, or andropause.
HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)
HCGChemically, it is a polypeptide -glycoprotein molecule, which acts like the anterior pituitary hormone called luteinizing hormone (LH). Luteinizing hormone is the normal primary activator for Testosterone synthesis by acting on the Leydig cell receptors. Human chorionic gonadotropin is an analog to LH (it acts like LH and fits into Leydig cell receptors) and activates Leydig cells to make Testosterone. Leydig cells are only found in the testes and are the only cells of significance in the body to produce testosterone. They are also called testicular interstitial cells since they are found in the testes between sperm producing cells. If the Leydig cells are sufficient in number and are functional, you should see an increase in serum Testosterone.
There can be significant positive mood change and quality of life feeling with use of HCG. This may occur even when the Testosterone levels are not greatly elevated. Those with functional Leydig cells can experience increased libido, morning erections, better erections and greater energy. Even pain levels may diminish with hCG use.
